As reported by the Bolesławiec municipal authorities: – Bolesławiec ceramics and their makers have gained further opportunities to present themselves abroad. We are now completing preparations for an exhibition of Bolesławiec stoneware, which will be hosted by the Polish Institute in Vienna.

And adds:

The exhibition “The European Ceramics Heritage: Bolesławiec (PL) and Gmunden (AT)” will feature contemporary products made by establishments from the Bolesławiec region and the Austrian city of Gmunden. They are symbols of traditional, hand-crafted ceramics and belong to the “European Ceramic Route” association, certified by the Council of Europe.

When is the opening reception?

The exhibition will open on Thursday, 11 May 2023, at 6:30 p.m., at the p_art Gallery of the Polish Institute in Vienna. The exhibition can be visited until 29 June.

The organizer is the Polish Institute in Vienna, in cooperation with the Association of Ceramic Municipalities of the Republic of Poland, the Municipality of Bolesławiec, Bolesławiec Municipality, Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality, the Municipality and City of Nowogrodziec, the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec, and the Gmunden Municipal Office.
