As part of the relief campaign for flood victims, the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Bolesławiec collected: 9,500 litres of water, cleaning products and equipment (buckets, mops, rice-root brushes, rubbish bags, packing bags, gloves, candles, matches, toilet paper, paper towels, sanitary pads, incontinence briefs, cloths, large plastic shovels, toothpaste, soap, shampoos, cleaning liquids for dishes, floors, windows and toilets, washing powders, disinfectants), food (canned goods, bread, milk, flour, rice, sugar, pasta, cereal for milk, yellow cheese, hermetically packaged food, oil, dog and cat food), clothing for adults and children, workwear, bed linen, blankets, bedspreads, window curtains, towels and kitchen cloths. Moreover, the Municipal Water and Sewage Company in Bolesławiec is conducting a campaign to collect donations for PWiK in Bogatynia.

The donors so far are:

  • 23 private individuals from Bolesławiec (people who entered their names on the donor list; in addition to them, many other residents of Bolesławiec responded to the appeal for help) and 2 people from Gmina Nowogrodziec
  • employees of the II Środowiskowy Dom Samopomocy
  • employees of the Municipal Social Welfare Centre
  • employees of the Dom Dziennego Pobytu
