In the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów, the first stage of the “Train Like a Soldier” project has just begun. Unit:
The volunteers completed the required documents and familiarized themselves with the program, as well as learning about the history of our unit.
As the Ministry of National Defence reports, the aim of the project in question is to provide participants with comprehensive training and build the reserve potential of the Polish Armed Forces:
“Train Like a Soldier” enables volunteers to sign up for 16-day military training, which will be conducted in a flexible, two-stage format. The first stage consists of two days of getting to know the unit and the military; the second is a 14-day training course during the summer holidays. Throughout the entire course, participants will learn basic military skills, including handling weapons and shooting, tactics, terrain navigation, survival in difficult conditions, hand-to-hand combat, communications and the basics of drill.
