The ceremony began with the singing of the national anthem, after which the Head of Gromadka Municipality, Ryszard Kawka, spoke briefly about the holiday being celebrated, emphasising its importance.

The academy was hosted by Elżbieta Andrusieczko-Tor. The programme included a spoken-word and musical performance by the "Ziemi Bolesławieckiej" Song and Dance Ensemble, led by Elżbieta, as well as folk ensembles operating under the care of the Gromadka Municipal Cultural Centre and Library.

Sławomir Ratajski, in the role of a writer from that period, introduced the audience to the Government Act of 3 May 1791 by reading the text of the document, which reveals the original intention behind adopting the Fundamental Law. It mentions the prevailing religion, the nobility, peasants and landed estates, the government, the Sejm as the legislative authority, the king as the executive authority, the judicial authority, the regency, the armed strength of the nation, and the names of the people who signed the act establishing the 3 May Constitution in 1791.

The ceremonial character of the event was enhanced by a polonaise and dances from Kraków and Greater Poland. The song "Szyszki" was presented energetically and with great enthusiasm by children and young people from the ensemble, dressed in colourful folk costumes. The emotions were sustained by the songs "Sokół" and "Odlot", performed by Sławomir Ratajski and Elżbieta Anrdusieczko-Tor.

The audience was reminded of the songs "Witaj Maj Trzeci Maj", "Jak długo w sercach naszych" and "Nasz Kraj" by "My Słowianie" from Osła, "Wesoła Gromadka" from Gromadka and "Ale Babki" from Różyniec.

The ceremony concluded with another form of patriotic activity: a historical reenactment group representing the 6th Kaniow Uhlan Regiment from Stanisławów. On the grounds beside the Gromadka Municipal Cultural Centre and Library, the group briefly presented the history of the regiment and staged a cavalry training demonstration. The demonstration was performed by Krzysztof Król, Chair of the Municipal Council, and Andrzej Peter, a former councillor for the village of Pasternik.

The beautiful anniversary of the adoption of the 3 May Constitution was commemorated in Gromadka Municipality with the resounding national anthem—beautiful and solemn—with patriotism, historical words, song and dance, because this is our place, our home, our country, our Poland.
