As recently as 2019, concerts were held at Łajba, and the venue had its regular customers. However, the building has been closed for some time. The above-water section (the boat) has been dismantled. Łajba itself is neglected and now serves only as a home for pigeons.
The city will soon be able to dismantle the building. All the paperwork is currently being completed. The structure will be dismantled within a month or two.
A pier will be built here, just as it was in the past.
