Ladies and Gentlemen. In the past, grass was also trimmed with a mower in April in Western Europe. But it has not been mowed for a long time now.

He added:

When I first visited Sweden in 1993, everything seemed distant, abstract and unreal to me, including using a mower to trim the grass on a residential estate. Here in Poland, however, things were poor; people, and OFFICIALS as well, paid no attention – the grass is there, and that was that.

He also summed up: – A trend began in Poland with a considerable delay, while Western Europe realised that the ecosystem in cities had, after all, been disrupted. We ask the officials in Bolesławiec whether they know the basic ecosystems.

He also sent us a link to an article in which an ecologist speaks very critically about mowing grass in April.

As istotne.pl was told by Kazimierz Łomotowski, head of the Municipal Housing Management Facility, the city of Bolesławiec simply needs to look nice, be clean and please the eye.
