Officers from the Criminal Division of the Bolesławiec Police unit identified, based on secured surveillance footage, a person suspected of committing thefts at two stores in the city.
First, at a drugstore, the 33-year-old stole razors four times, with a total value of nearly PLN 800. Then, over the course of 5 days, he came to the store three times, selected various items of clothing from the racks and went to the fitting room. There, he tore off the tags and put on the items he wanted to steal. In total, he left wearing merchandise worth more than PLN 700.
The Bolesławiec resident was arrested and charged with theft.
Theft is punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
