Behemoth won the Album of the Year – Metal category for the album “Opvs Contra Natvram”. The band’s leader, Adam Darski, thanked the fans, but also took a swipe at the Polish Catholic Church.
– We would really like to thank, above all, our fans. The Behemoth legions are here; thank you very much. We certainly do not thank God, and we do not thank the Polish Catholic Church. And you know what, PiS, and you know what, Konfederacja! All the best – said Adam Darski.
The audience responded with applause and cheers.
