The incident occurred on Tuesday morning, at around 8:00 a.m., in Czerniawa-Zdrój (Lubań County). A primary school student who was walking to school was hit by a car while crossing at a pedestrian crossing.
Fortunately, the child was not seriously injured and made it to school unaided. The school notified both the police and the medical emergency response team about the incident.
As the lwowecki.info website established, the boy was examined by paramedics. He did not require hospitalization.
The case is being investigated by the Lubań police, who are looking for the perpetrator and witnesses to the incident. The latter are asked to contact the duty officer at the local KPP at 47 87 34 200 or 47 87 34 222.
