On 14–16 April, the Polish Kickboxing Championships in the low kick formula were held in Nowa Sól. Representatives of UKS Korio Gym Ruszów-Bolesławiec won four medals:

  • Patrycja Płonka confidently won all four bouts and claimed the title of Polish champion in the -60 kg senior category.
  • Martyna Czuchraj won the Polish runner-up title in the -48 kg older junior category.
  • Patryk Słota won a bronze medal in the -63.5 kg senior category.
  • Oliwia Czuchraj also won bronze in the -56 kg older junior category.

Meanwhile, Julia Kozakiewicz, making her debut, faced a World Cup medalist in her first bout and lost the contest on points.

We thank the Węgliniec Municipality for funding the trip. The Korio Gym club athletes’ next competition will take place (…) on 12–14 May, this time in the K-1 formula. The event will be held in Kartuzy.
