A notice concerning the resolution of the call for proposals to entrust the implementation of the public task “Ecology and animal protection, as well as protection of natural heritage – improving the living conditions of free-roaming animals (in particular cats) in the city of Bolesławiec” has appeared on the Bolesławiec City Hall website.
City Hall officials:
The task includes activities aimed at the humane treatment of animals, providing them with protection and care, including through:
- veterinary care for free-roaming cats requiring treatment;
- purchasing, obtaining and distributing food (autumn–winter);
- finding temporary homes for free-roaming cats;
- sterilizing and neutering free-roaming cats.
The municipal government allocated PLN 50,000 to the Animal Assistance Association in Bolesławiec for the implementation of this task.
