Following the confirmation of an outbreak of African swine fever on a farm raising pigs, located in Lubań County, a procedure was implemented to eradicate the aforementioned outbreak of the infectious disease. The pigs that had died and been slaughtered on the farm, 16 in total, were transported under police escort to the Promarol-Plus disposal facility.

The story was first reported by The Bad Bunzlauer:

Before 10 a.m., on the Nowogrodziec–Bolesławiec route, police escorted a vehicle carrying a container with its siren and lights on.

As we managed to establish, officers from the Lubań County Police Headquarters were securing the transport of the animals, which were headed to a facility in Lubusz Voivodeship. The entire operation is related to African swine fever.
