Head of the Nowogrodziec hospital dismissed on disciplinary grounds? Councillors demand an extraordinary session

We received the following report from a reader:

Scandalous conduct by the mayor of Nowogrodziec. He dismissed the director of the healthcare centre on disciplinary grounds, without justification and without convening the councillors.

Interestingly, Bernarda Kowalska is still listed as the director of the facility in the BIP of the Nowogrodziec SP ZOZ.

As we have established, some councillors of the Nowogrodziec Municipal Council are concerned about the matter. At the end of March, they submitted a motion to convene an extraordinary session. The document reads:

In connection with the disciplinary dismissal of the director of SP ZOZ in Nowogrodziec, Ms Bernarda Kowalska, the troubling information conveyed by the staff, and, above all, the numerous resignations submitted by doctors and employees of the facility, it is necessary to discuss and clarify the situation that has arisen.

We officially asked Nowogrodziec gmina about the matter. We will publish the response as soon as we receive it.
