The incident took place on the night from Saturday to Sunday in central Bolesławiec, on Sierpnia '80 Street. After 10:00 p.m., a group of Americans were dragging a woman along the street. She was screaming, but it is not known whether from pain or because she was experiencing some kind of psychosis. All of them were probably drunk or under the influence of drugs, witnesses say.
Passers-by called the police. The first police car arrived, according to witnesses, after about 20 minutes.
The police brought the situation under control, but video footage shows that they arrested no one and let the English-speaking troublemakers go.
On Sunday, we will request an official statement from the police regarding the scandalous behavior of the foreigners, who were probably soldiers from the US military base in Trzebień.
