In January, we reported that the heavy-folk band Łysa Góra had visited Perła Żeliszowa, a former Protestant church. The group from Piaseczno, which filmed a music video there for the song “W Ogniu Świat”, announcing its new album, summed up its visit to this remarkable historic site as follows:
Perła is a true miracle! Thank you for letting our music stay with you!
The video premiered on March 30:
What do you think of the song? What do you think of the music video? We invite you to join the discussion.
The musicians of Łysa Góra describe themselves as follows:
A folk soul rooted in Slavic soil, growing amid energizing arrangements. It is difficult to assign us unequivocally to a single genre.
We move between folk, rock and a heavy, deep metal sound. We draw most of our lyrics from both the traditions of the Polish countryside and the culture of our eastern neighbors.
We are not afraid to experiment and break conventions. Two powerful female vocals, based on classical singing and white voice singing, intertwine against a backdrop of electrifying guitar sounds, deep bass and strong drums, softened by the delicate sounds of percussion instruments and violin. At our performances, we guarantee incredible energy and an atmosphere straight from Łysa Góra.
The band performs live as follows:
