The incident occurred in the Lubań municipality. – During a patrol, officers from the Road Traffic Unit of the Lubań District Police Headquarters stopped for a traffic check a man driving an agricultural tractor with a grain seeder attached. The officers checked the sobriety of the 40-year-old tractor driver, a resident of the Lubań municipality. It turned out that the man had approximately 3 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air – reports asp. szt. Justyna Bujakiewicz-Rodzeń, press officer for the Lubań police. – The officers conducted three sobriety tests, which unequivocally confirmed that he was intoxicated.
The result? The spokesperson says: – The man’s driving licence was confiscated, and the vehicle was handed over at the scene to a third party.
She adds: – The man suspected in the case will soon be charged. Under the applicable regulations, he faces up to 2 years in prison.
