The incident occurred on Thursday, 23 March, in the village of Parowa. As reported by the Bolesławiec police:
The 29-year-old from Osiecznica Commune stepped in front of the victim’s vehicle, which swerved sharply and hit a fence. An argument then broke out between the two men.
The pedestrian attacked the driver and then got into his own car and drove away from the scene, thereby committing another crime. (He is subject to a court-ordered driving ban.)
The 29-year-old was detained. He has already been charged with making criminal threats, causing bodily harm, and violating the court-ordered ban.
Moreover, the prosecutor placed the aggressor under police supervision and imposed a ban on approaching or contacting the victim.
The young resident of Osiecznica Commune now faces a sentence of between three months and as much as five years in prison.
