On 22 March, a contract was signed in Bolesławiec’s Sala Rajców concerning the purchase of an electric bus for public transport in Bolesławiec.
Bolesławiec City Hall:
The subject of the contract is the delivery of a low-floor electric bus manufactured by Solaris, Type: Urbino 9.H, trade name: Urbino 9LE electric, together with a charger and the necessary equipment, including a set of tools and specialist devices. The price of the bus is PLN 2,781,522. The total price (bus + charger) is PLN 3,013,500.

The subject of the contract is co-financed as part of the “Zero-Emission Public Transport in the Municipality of Bolesławiec” project. Priority Programme No. 6.3 “Zero-Emission Transport: Green Public Transport,” in the form of a grant and a loan from NFOŚiGW funds. The grant amounts to up to PLN 1,770,000, and the loan amounts to PLN 100,000.
The contract was signed by Bolesławiec mayor Piotr Roman and Waldemar Wlazło, a representative of Solaris Bus & Coach and sales director for the South-Western Region.
The new bus, with 27 seats, will have a longer range and will travel 250 km on a single charge. It will also have a new design.
The vehicle will be delivered within 12 months.
