Officers from the Police station in Kruszyna identified and arrested a man who broke into forestry machinery at two different locations and stole diesel fuel. The officers said: “The 32-year-old operated under cover of darkness in forest areas in the Gromadka municipality. In addition to draining the fuel, the suspect also stole a wildlife camera. The losses were estimated at approximately PLN 2,500.

The resident of Bolesławiec County admitted to the charges against him. What is more, the man will also be held responsible for violating a court-imposed driving ban.

The officers added: “The man was a repeat offender and was wanted to serve a prison sentence, which is why he was immediately taken to a penitentiary.

The 32-year-old now additionally faces between one and as many as fifteen years in prison.
