The incident occurred on Basztowa Street in Złotoryja. The mother left her 2-year-old child in the car. The keys were still in the ignition.

Although the approximately 2-year-old toddler was sitting in the back seat when left in the vehicle, after the mother walked away, the child moved to the front and began playing with the keys.
The result? The child managed to start the car, which “jerked.” One of the passers-by noticed the entire situation and informed the municipal police officers.

Fortunately, no one’s health or property was harmed, so the woman was only given a warning.
