On the occasion of International Women's Day, a concert entitled "OH, THOSE WOMEN" was held in the performance hall of the Municipal Cultural Centre and Library in Gromadka, featuring hits by Eugeniusz Bodo performed by Krzysztof Bigaj – a vocalist, composer and lyricist, master of ceremonies, and painter in words and on canvas.
According to Wikipedia, Eugeniusz Bodo (1899–1943) was a Polish film, revue and theatre actor. The son of a Polish mother and a Swiss father, he was also a director, screenwriter, dancer, singer and film producer. He was one of the most outstanding and popular actors of interwar Polish cinema and theatre.
Eugeniusz Bodo's most popular songs: Sleep, Darling, Oh, Those Women, I Kiss Your Hand, Madame, That's Just the Way I Am, a Cold Rogue, Only with You and for You, I Made a Date with Her for Nine – the whole audience sang along, led by Krzysztof Bigaj. It was a pleasant evening at GOKiB, with coffee, cookies and plenty of good taste and humour.
