The body of the 49-year-old man was found in the river just beyond the wastewater treatment plant, near Orzeszkowej Street. His bicycle and a water bottle were on the bank—not alcohol, as we reported earlier. The man was swimming in a place that was deep and had strong whirlpools.

The autopsy has established that the direct cause of death was cardiorespiratory failure. For now, there is no information indicating that the man was under the influence of alcohol.
