During the March session of the Bolesławiec County Council, councillor Tomasz Matyjewicz mentioned the “escalating pay conflict” that had taken place in social welfare units in Legnica. The local government official asked the Bolesławiec county head Tomasz Gabrysiak what the situation was like in the county government and whether there was a similar problem here.

The county head replied to the councillor that he tried to discuss such issues directly with employees. He added:

We are planning pay rises. But it is not that I want to give these pay rises only to one group or one unit, for example the PCPR. Because I believe that all employees deserve pay rises.

He also noted:

If such a move is made—and it will be—it will apply to all employees for whom the Bolesławiec County Head is the employer.
