The incident occurred on 19 February 2023, at approximately 12:30 p.m., on national road No. 3, at the turnoff to Jeleniogórska Street in Wojcieszyce. – Initial findings indicate that an 18-year-old resident of Legnica County, driving a Peugeot 206 from Szklarska Poręba towards Jelenia Góra, moved into the opposite lane on a straight section of road for reasons that have not yet been established and collided with a Kia Ceed passenger car – reports Aspirant Beata Sosulska-Baran of the Jelenia Góra Municipal Police Headquarters.

As a result of the incident, a 17-year-old passenger in the Peugeot passenger car died at the scene. The driver had an active ban on driving all motor vehicles.
