The January session of the Bolesławiec County Council is underway. During a presentation of a report on key activities undertaken between sessions, the county governor Tomasz Gabrysiak informed councillors that a major tender for the modernization of county roads had been decided. The project will be 95% financed by the “Polish Deal” Strategic Investment Programme.
The county government has earmarked PLN 14.7 million for this purpose; the value of the winning bid was more than PLN 13.9 million.
The Bolesławiec County authorities will now approach the municipalities that are to share the costs of carrying out individual projects in their areas (2.5% of the investment value).
When will the projects begin?
The contract is to be signed at the beginning of February. From that moment, the contractors will have 15 months to complete the project.
