An unknown person who appeared in Iwiny and left mysterious notes on property gates alarmed one of the residents. The reader informed the police and shared his observations with us. A police spokesperson checked the information for us.

We received information from residents about a note containing a phone number. In the area where the notes were reportedly seen, we have no record of any criminal activity. At meetings, for example with seniors, police officers proactively inform people about the risks associated with strangers appearing in rural areas. We distributed a photo of the man who may be connected with these notes to police officers; perhaps someone will recognize him.

In rural areas, notes often appear with information, for example, about photovoltaics and a phone number; people hired to distribute leaflets walk around. Therefore, it is worth remaining vigilant and informing the services when someone unfamiliar is loitering in our area, as they may be conducting reconnaissance.

We called the number provided on the note. The man who answered said that he wanted to contact people this way regarding photovoltaics. When asked which company offered the photovoltaic systems, he replied that it was Columbus. We asked Columbus whether people offering its product were working for the company in our area. We received confirmation.

In connection with concerning reports recently reaching local websites and social media about people viewing single-family homes and claiming to be employees of Columbus Elite, we confirm that they are representatives of our company. These activities are also fully consistent with the procedures established at Columbus Elite.

Our representatives hold meetings with potential Customers in the field because this allows them to reliably assess the technical possibilities of a given building. Thanks to a personal visit and a conversation with the Customer at their place of residence, the employee has an opportunity to quickly assess the building for a potential investment, check energy demand and other local conditions.

At the same time, we assure you that no meeting with the owner of a given property takes place without their prior consent.
