“Cosmic Emotions” at the Municipal Public Library – Knowledge Centre
The holiday activities will focus on emotions, their diversity and coping with them, often in very difficult situations in life. Emotions are close to everyone, and sometimes they seem so great that they reach all the way into space, hence the guiding idea of the activities: “Cosmic Emotions”. We will talk about when we feel like shouting and whether “butterflies in the stomach” are a cosmic phenomenon. We will combine space and emotions during the meetings to see whether a spacesuit can help control anger, or perhaps there are no extreme emotions in a city of the future. Participants will learn, among other things, about Nicolaus Copernicus’s discoveries and find out what the Solar System, selected constellations and planets are.
The meetings will be accompanied by the exhibition “Leopanther. The Story of a Certain Love” – illustrations by Józef Wilkoń.
Activities:
- Knowledge Centre daily Monday to Friday, 11:30–13:00
- Children’s Department Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:30.
Registration: Municipal Public Library – Knowledge Centre, 5 B. Głowackiego Street, or tel.: 75 612 13 88.
