Earthworks have begun along provincial road no. 382 (formerly provincial road no. 363), on the Łaziska–roundabout section (Bolesławiec bypass). Construction of a shared pedestrian and bicycle path and a pavement, as well as reconstruction of the existing access roads, has begun on a section measuring just under one kilometre.
Additionally, a bus bay will be built in Łaziska as part of the works. If everything goes according to plan, cyclists will be able to try out the new bicycle path as early as during the summer holidays.
The contractor is BAU SERWIS Sp. z o.o. from Wrocław, which submitted the most advantageous offer to Gmina Bolesławiec. The investment is worth PLN 1,257,400.00.
What about the roundabout–Bolesławiec section?
Construction of the second part of the shared pedestrian and bicycle path (bicycle path and pavement) from the roundabout to Bolesławiec (to Kosiby Street) is the responsibility of Powiat Bolesławiecki.
A tender procedure to select a contractor for, among other things, this investment is currently under way. The contractor is to be selected on 19 January. The funds for this investment come from Polski Ład.
