The small room features a variety of library collections related to the history and present of Bolesławiec. Particularly noteworthy is a collection of 82 archival photographs by Bolesławiec photographer Alojzy Skorupa, being exhibited for the first time. The photographs show what Bolesławiec looked like immediately after the end of World War II. The exhibition will run until the end of March.
The second exhibition presents sculptures by Rafał Martysiewicz. Among the various forms, a series of life-size female figures attracts attention. In his work, the artist does not limit himself to a single material. In addition to wood, he uses metal, stone and clay for sculpting. Rafał Martysiewicz’s sculptures can be viewed until 20 March.
