The Destiny band, whose debut single we wrote about in February last year, released its first album, “Wizzkid,” in December. Drummer Tomasz Ratka and the band’s guitarist Dawid Opyrchał live in Polkowice, while vocalist and guitarist Kamil Matuszewski and bassist Miłosz Abramczuk are residents of Lubin gmina.
Miłosz:
A few words about the band. We are called “Destiny”; our name is very important to us—the music we listen to, play and create is our destiny. We sing in English. We are teenagers who love rock music.
Our goal is not only to create a new generation of energetic, loud and captivating rock music, but also to transport listeners back to the 1980s and 1990s. At the beginning of 2022, our debut single, “Sleepless Nights,” was released, followed by another single, “Paranoia Street,” in August, and in December, as the culmination of the entire year, our first album, “WHIZZKID.”
The bassist about the album:
It contains eight original tracks that are our musical expression, something that plays within us. Thanks to the kindness of good people, we managed to record the album in a professional studio.
