The collection of donations for Zbarazh, Bolesławiec’s partner city, continued until December 14. It was initiated by Barbara Smoleńska – president of the Bolesławiec branch of the Association of Lviv and Southeastern Borderland Enthusiasts.
This year’s collection was held at Primary School No. 4 on Bielska Street. The donations mainly consisted of food products with a long shelf life, but there were also Christmas cards prepared by students of Bolesławiec schools and preschools.
On December 16, members of the Association and volunteers from “Czwórka” packed the parcels. This year, municipal preschools Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7, as well as all primary schools administered by the Municipality of Bolesławiec, joined the campaign.
