A historic steam locomotive from the German city of Cottbus was due to arrive in Bolesławiec on Saturday at 9:20 a.m. Unfortunately, it was delayed. It entered the station at 10:00 a.m. Despite the cold morning, crowds of Bolesławiec residents were waiting for it. There were many parents with children. People took photos and recorded videos.
The passengers on the special train looked somewhat surprised that so many people had come to the station in Bolesławiec. Shortly after arriving, the locomotive was detached from the rest of the train and probably departed to replenish its supplies. After its stop in Bolesławiec, the locomotive is scheduled to leave for Wrocław and then travel to Świdnica.
See what the locomotive looked like on the Bolesławiec viaduct. The photos were taken by Łukasz Szuchalski. Thank you.
