BEYOND MEASURE (Italy/France 2022, drama, 97 min.). Starring the dazzling Penélope Cruz, disarming and tender, full of youthful energy and playfulness, escaping into a world of dreams and childhood fantasies from her husband’s numerous affairs and lack of understanding, in the latest film straight from the Venice Film Festival.
TRIANGLE OF SADNESS (Sweden, United Kingdom, France, comedy, 150 min.). A brilliantly funny satire of the beautiful and wealthy. Ruben Östlund’s hellishly, crazily, indecently funny film, awarded the Palme d’Or in Cannes. A luxury yacht and a cruise among the world’s richest people. An ocean of champagne, a sea of money and a captain who always sails against the tide.
During the interval between screenings: a film music concert, a communal toast and a raffle for gifts from the event’s partners.
