The incident occurred on Thursday, 24 November. At around 1:00 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a house fire in Suszki, where 9 people lived. The roof and attic burned down. The building is currently unfit for habitation. A representative of Gmina Bolesławiec and the District Building Supervision Inspectorate were called to the scene.
Two people were burned (a man and a woman, both approximately 40 years old). They were both taken to hospital.
The police are determining the cause of the incident. The fire probably began in the extension of the building, in the workshop area.
