At noon today, a ceremonial appeal marking the handover of equipment for use was held in the square of the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service.
The light Ford Ranger reconnaissance and rescue vehicle was purchased with funds from the “Improving the Road Rescue System – Stage V” project and handed over to KP PSP in Bolesławiec to increase the operational readiness of the fire protection unit in Bolesławiec County.
The Bolesławiec command also received an MCH3 MARK3 compressor with a filling panel, acquired with PSP support funds from the City of Bolesławiec and Osiecznica Municipality.
The Volunteer Fire Service in Trzebień was equipped with a Segway rescue quad bike as part of a grant from the “We Get Vaccinated with the OSP” programme.
In addition to the handed-over equipment, decorations and promotion ranks were presented to distinguished firefighters.
Those attending the ceremony included: Lower Silesian Voivodeship Commander of the State Fire Service, Brig. Gen. Marek Kamiński; District Commander of the State Fire Service, Brig. Andrzej Śliwowski; Bolesławiec County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak; Mayor Piotr Roman; and Head of Bolesławiec Municipality Andrzej Dutkowski.
