The “Erynie” series is available to watch on the TVP VOD streaming service. Filmweb says of this production:
A captivating series based on Marek Krajewski’s cult crime novels. Marcin Dorociński plays Commissioner Edward Popielski, a pursuer of Lviv criminals who uses his outstanding intellect, powerful physical strength and epileptic visions in his investigations. “The Bald One,” because of his photosensitive epilepsy, protects himself with tinted glasses and lives after dark. His natural environment is made up of dark alleys, all-night taverns and brothels. The surreal atmosphere of interwar Lviv, where thugs, prostitutes, drug addicts, perverts, aristocrats, illiterate peasants, circus freaks, Ukrainians, Jews and Poles live side by side.
Interestingly, filming for the series took place in Lower Silesia, including in Legnica, Jelenia Góra, Wrocław and… Perła Żeliszowa. A photo from the set can be found on the Instagram profile of the Twoje Dziedzictwo Foundation.
