The first incident occurred on October 29, during a match between the A-class teams Lechia Piechowice and Czarni Strzyżowiec.

The match was stopped in the 86th minute, with Lechia leading 2–0, after the referee’s physical integrity was violated.

As reported by lwowecki.info:

(...) The referee officiating the match was struck twice in the face area by one of the players from Czarni Strzyżowiec.

(...) The accused admitted guilt, expressed remorse and applied to voluntarily submit to disciplinary punishment, and the application was accepted. The accused was given a three-year suspension and a fine. In a statement, the Referees’ College also assured that a civil lawsuit would be filed against the guilty player.

On November 1, at the cemetery in Janowice Wielkie, a football referee who was visiting graves with his family was attacked by a player from the “Rudawy Janowice” team. The matter was described in a statement issued by the Jelenia Góra Referees’ College:

Statement of the Board of KS Jelenia Góra dated November 1, 2022:

Today we were informed of another scandalous act of misconduct toward a referee.
While at the cemetery, the referee was attacked by one of the players from the “Rudawy” Janowice team, who blocked his path and deliberately bumped into him, asking him the absurd question, “So what now, you f***ing scum(...)?”.

The situation is particularly outrageous because the referee was with his immediate family, who also felt threatened at that moment. In addition, the player responsible for this conduct had received a red card and a suspension of more than six months from this particular referee in the previous season for his immoral behavior toward him.

The matter was reported to the police, and the Jelenia Góra Subdistrict Disciplinary Commission will also receive the relevant letter. The referee was provided with legal assistance and received the support of all members of the KS Jelenia Góra Board.
