The “Dresden Promotion” is valid on all Koleje Dolnośląskie (KD) regional trains and on trilex and trilex express trains operated by Länderbahn (DLB). To take advantage of it, you must begin your journey in Poland, on one of two routes:

  1. Wrocław Główny – Dresden (via Legnica, Bolesławiec, Zgorzelec and Bautzen)
  2. Jelenia Góra – Dresden (via Gryfów Śląski, Lubań Śląski, Zgorzelec and Bautzen)

How much does the ticket cost?

Whether you are travelling to Dresden alone, with your family or with friends, take advantage of the Koleje Dolnośląskie offer. Choose your departure stop on the route from Wrocław Główny or Jelenia Góra and save with KD ticket offers. You can choose tickets valid for 1, 2 or 14 days.

You can also take a dog, bicycle or luggage to Dresden Hbf. Simply purchase an additional ticket for transporting a dog/bicycle/luggage with your current ticket, in accordance with the Transport Tariff (TP-KD), at a price of PLN 10 one way and PLN 20 return.

For transporting a dog/bicycle/luggage on a round trip, you must purchase two separate tickets.

Where can you buy a ticket?

Tickets can be purchased:

  • via the e-Podróżnik system (except for routes departing from Zgorzelec and Zgorzelec Miasto),
  • at all Koleje Dolnośląskie ticket offices and Koleje Dolnośląskie Customer Service Offices,
  • on board from a Koleje Dolnośląskie conductor,
  • at all POLREGIO ticket offices.

Advance ticket sales for the “Dresden Promotion” are available 7 days in advance.

PLEASE NOTE! When using the “Dresden Promotion”, remember that, depending on the connection selected, you will change to a German carrier’s train at Zgorzelec or Görlitz. Passengers change trains smoothly at the transfer station. The connections are coordinated so that you can change trains safely without having to wait a long time to continue your journey. You can obtain information about the transfer station from the conductor, at the Customer Service Office, at ticket offices, or through the ticket sales systems Koleo or E-podróżnik.

Starting your journey in Dresden?

If you start your journey at Dresden Hbf on a Germany–Poland service and do not have a “Dresden Promotion” ticket purchased in Poland for travel to Poland, you can purchase tickets under the “Dresden-Wroclaw-Spezial” offer. Tickets are sold by:

  • ticket offices of the German carrier Die Länderbahn GmbH
  • ticket offices of the German carrier Deutsche Bahn
  • conductors on trilex and trilex-express trains departing from Dresden to Görlitz, as well as on direct Dresden Hbf – Zgorzelec trains.
