The “Best Vocational Teacher in the 2021/2022 School Year” gala was a summary of a competition in which craftspeople belonging to the Bolesławiec Guild of Various Crafts and Small Entrepreneurship took part.
All nominees for the award appeared on the stage of the Old Theatre. As the organizers emphasized, the nomination itself is already a great distinction. New guild members were welcomed into the circle of craftspeople.
The best vocational teachers were:
- Matylda Kryjak,
- Krystian Góra,
- Cyprian Graczyk.
The competition was overseen by a panel which, in its final assessment, took into account the opinions of students undertaking practical training in establishments from a wide range of industries. The quality and methods of imparting knowledge, respect for young people’s work, and concern for occupational health and safety were among the criteria scored.
The ceremony was attended, among others, by Marzena Machałek, Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland and Deputy Minister of National Education; Cezary Przybylski, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship; Zbigniew Ładziński, President of the Lower Silesian Chamber of Crafts; Tomasz Gabrysiak, Bolesławiec County Head; Renata Szewczyk, First Deputy Mayor of Bolesławiec; and Ryszard Kawka, Head of Gromadka Municipality.
The hosts of the ceremony were: Grażyna Matczak, the Guild’s senior warden, and Urszula Róg, who runs the guild office. The competition was organized by the Bolesławiec County Office and the Guild of Various Crafts and Small Entrepreneurship.
