Yesterday (September 12), we reported on the operation on Kościuszki Street and an unknown substance on a truck trailer. At around 3:00 p.m., firefighters from Bolesławiec and the police were dispatched. Firefighters specialising in chemical incidents from Legnica were then also dispatched.
The trailer contained 1,000-litre containers with an unknown substance. Three of them were open. Firefighters from Legnica collected samples, which showed that it was a hazardous substance from the group of solvents and varnishes.
At around 9:00 p.m., the fire service, including firefighters specialising in chemical incidents from Legnica, was dispatched again to the same area, to another truck trailer that also contained similar containers with a hazardous substance.
The police and prosecutors are handling the case.
