A Civic Coalition MP criticized the government’s actions. According to Piotr Borys, an average family will have to spend PLN 7,000 more to heat their home during the season (the purchase of 4 tonnes of coal) than previously promised by those in power.

What do MP Piotr Borys and the Civic Coalition propose?

  1. A PLN 3,000 allowance for everyone, regardless of which heat source they use.
  2. An increase of no more than 40% for consumers receiving district heating.
  3. The increase of no more than 40% would also apply to businesses using district heating.

The Senate has already adopted the proposals above. The Sejm will consider them next week.
