Danuta Maślicka, PhD in the humanities, a longtime teacher and director of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre, poet and writer, and during the Polish People’s Republic a member of NSZZ “Solidarity,” has died.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce that
on September 8, 2022, at the age of 81,
Danuta Maślicka
, a longtime educator, poet and writer,
a councillor of the Bolesławiec City Council in its first term,
director of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre from 1990 to 2001,
and an honouree with the title of “Meritorious for the City of Bolesławiec,” has passed away.

For many years, she was involved in cultural, political and social activities.
