Wolna Gromadka, supported by Hörmann, has installed two containers for plastic caps. Thanks to them, residents of Gromadka and Hörmann employees can help a little girl while also caring for the environment. Two hearts have been installed: one on the company premises and the other in Gromadka.

“We wanted red containers to appear at Hörmann and in Gromadka: metal hearts for plastic caps,” says the company representative Patrycja Champlewska-Wójcik. “This is an excellent material for recycling and a way to provide charitable assistance to our colleague’s daughter, who has a heart condition. Instead of ending up in the trash, the caps themselves can be given a second life. After being processed into recycled material—plastic granulate—they can become, for example, flowerpots, buckets or shovels. Hörmann is eco-friendly,” the representative adds.

The company’s management gave the green light, and the initiative got underway. A large group of people contributed to creating the hearts: from the design department, where the project was developed, to the manager of the doors and gates line, who commissioned their production from a team of employees always willing to help. They created two heart-shaped containers.
