On Saturday, 27 August, a summary of the second edition of Tour de Konstytucja took place in Warsaw, in front of the Palace of Culture. It is a project that explains to citizens how the law functions in a law-abiding and democratic state. In Warsaw, a two-month campaign was summarized during which judges, prosecutors, female lawyers and male lawyers visited more than 70 cities under the slogan “Europe is the direction we are heading in.”

Halina Gniewek, Kinga Gęsicka-Biały as well as Bartek Mania and Zbigniew Złotkowski jointly celebrated the conclusion of this year’s Tour de Konstytucja campaign in Warsaw. Robert Hojda received from our team a Bolesławiec ceramic jug bearing the Tour de Konstytucja logo. The jug was made by Rose ceramics Barbary Kinaj of Różyniec and will be auctioned to raise funds for the third edition of Tour de Konstytucja.

Halina Gniewek of Wolna Gromadka organized two Tour de Konstytucja meetings: in Gromadka in 2021 and in Bolesławiec in 2022. The special guests at the meetings in our region were, in 2021 in Gromadka, Judge Waldemar Żurek, one of the most active judges defending the independence of the judiciary in Poland.

In Bolesławiec, thanks to the organizer from Wolna Gromadka, we hosted Judge Igor Tuleya. Tour de Busem, together with Robert Hojda, also brought to Bolesławiec Danuta Przywara of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights and Kinga Dagmara Siadlak of the DEFENSOR Iuris Bar Association.

For the first time in Poland, the Constitution was read in Bolesławiec by a worthy representative of the city of ceramics: a glinoludka, a reader covered in clay slip. Kinga Gęsicka-Biały took on this role. As a glinoludka, she was invited to Warsaw by Robert Hojda and Igor Tuleya.
