The incident took place on Saturday, August 20, in the afternoon, in the Kwiatowe housing estate in Bolesławiec. As reported by the Bolesławiec police:
Two vehicles—a Peugeot and a Mini Cooper—were set on fire.
The police added:
As a result of their actions, police officers arrested a 26-year-old resident of Bolesławiec.
Why the vandal did it is unknown. What is known, however, is that he was intoxicated at the time. He now faces a sentence of three months to five years in prison. Police supervision was imposed on him.
