On Friday, 21 May, the second edition of the Safe Little Ones’ Olympiad, organised by the Bolesławiec Municipal Police, was held in the sports hall of Municipal School Complex No. 2. The aim of the competition is to raise the youngest participants’ awareness, familiarise them with basic road-safety rules and first-aid principles, and develop environmental awareness.
The Olympiad is aimed at preschool children. Eighty young competitors took part in the competition, including a group from Prywatne Przedszkole Oxpress.
The events held that day included a car race, a slalom relay (among other tasks, participants had to assemble a road sign from puzzle pieces), a well-stocked first-aid kit, smart waste sorting and fire extinguishing. There were no losers. All the teams reached the top step of the podium.
