An American football team is being formed in Bolesławiec. The team is to compete in the Polish American Football League II (second division), Western Group. The people behind the creation of an American football team in our town are: Eryk Pankowski, Sławomir Potocki and Grzegorz Haładus. Around 20 people have already declared their desire to play for the Bolesławiec team. “We want to build a strong core for the team, so we invite everyone interested in playing American football,” says Sławomir Potocki. “Anyone who has the strength and motivation to pursue a set goal can become a member of our team. They may be people who practice a variety of sports. However, those interested in playing must be at least 17 years old,” explains Sławomir Potocki. The team being formed is also looking for an American football coach. “Ideally, it would be someone with charisma and authority. Such a person will help motivate the team better and bring it together,” adds Potocki.
An organizational meeting concerning the establishment of the Bolesławiec American football team will take place soon. We will provide information about the date and location of the meeting. The Istotne Informacje portal and newspaper are keeping their fingers crossed for the success of this new sporting initiative. We can already reveal to our readers that the team being formed will be called Sharks Bolesławiec.
