We do not know whether Bloco Pomerania, the best samba group in Poland, received more applause, or whether it was the exceptional girls from ZUMBA Team Joanna & Magdalena. The “Porcelain Figurines” of Ocelot Bolesławiec, under the expert guidance of coach Marek Jaworowski, also inspired admiration. The tower created by the young acrobats was meaningful and symbolic. The young people showed us how essential trust between people is in order to rise high and safely.
The craftsmanship demonstrated by the three ceramic artists as they painted designs on the body was spectacular. Ceramika Artystyczna Spółdzielnia Rękodzieła Artystycznego created a tree-man, a beautiful decoration on a man’s body, dominated by a birch trunk painted on one of his arms. The design was created by Maria Starzyk, an outstanding designer of decorations for Spółdzielnia Rękodzieła Artystycznego “Ceramika Artystyczna” in Bolesławiec.
Ceramika Millena entwined a girl in a wild vine of flowers—subtle and delicate, yet predatory. Vegetation wrapped around the model’s arms and calves. This decoration was created by painter Irina Kolcova from Ceramika Millena.
A girl straight out of the film Avatar was the work of Ceramika Kaola. Designer and artist Andrzej Pachom created two figures: two cobalt-colored avatars with floral elements. In this way, he transformed his models into extraordinary, otherworldly figures.
A great impression was also made by Katy Janowiec: her grace, professionalism and wonderful performance. A professional physique-sports competitor from Bolesławiec, she loves painting herself with clay and has been part of Glina Show from the beginning.
