The second round of the elections took place on Sunday, August 7. Voters could choose between two candidates:
- Patryk Hałka (a resident of Bolesławiec, officially supported by PiS and unofficially by the Church)
- Ryszard Kawka (a long-time resident of Gromadka).
Ryszard Kawka received the most votes from the municipality's residents (948 votes). Hałka received 856 votes, 92 fewer. These are unofficial figures for now.
Two women also ran in the first round, which took place two weeks ago. One of them was Ewa Potyszka, a former councillor of Bolesławiec County.
