On Sunday (May 16), the BKS Bobrzanie senior team played their 25th match of the Lower Silesian IV league season. Their opponents were MKS Szczawno Zdrój, who had been unbeaten since the autumn of the previous year. Szczawno’s last defeat had come in their autumn match against BKS. On that occasion, the result was 2–0 for the Bolesławiec side. In Sunday’s match, the hosts successfully avenged that defeat and beat our players 3–0. Once again, the Bolesławiec side failed to take advantage of several good opportunities to score. In the first half, following a counterattack by our team, the hosts’ goalkeeper beat Łukasz Graczyk to the ball. The referee also failed to see a foul on Kamil Mielnik. In BKS’s view, the player was illegally stopped inside the penalty area. In the 20th minute, the hosts scored their first goal following a corner. The goal was scored by Marcin Nadzieja.

In the 35th minute, also following a set piece, Łukasz Bębeniec made it 2–0. Chrystian Serkies had a chance to score BKS’s goal to reduce the deficit. Unfortunately, he was unable to do so. The player lost the ball twice in the hosts’ six-yard box. In the 65th minute, it was already 3–0. A throw-in into the penalty area reached Daniel Kłosowski, who beat Sebastian Łokaj amid the goalmouth scramble. After a poor match, BKS lost away to MKS Szczawno Zdrój 0–3. Our team is ninth in the table.

BKS lined up as follows: Łokaj – Bednarz, Płachta, Rajchel, Janicki, Głowacki (46' Jasiński), Klimas, Kumoś (78' Szajwaj), Mielnik (78' Kozak), Graczyk (46' Szymański), Serkies.

Next Saturday (May 22) the Bolesławiec side will play at home. Their opponents will be Konfeks Legnica. The match will begin at 5:00 p.m..
